Get Ready: Know this.

v    How to conduct an effective and efficient Job Campaign.

Ø    Read manual and absorb handouts. 

§       Write questions and notes.  Practice. 

Ø    Set up personal campaign headquarters.

§      Contact Info for Letterhead.  Register with FaxBlast.

Ø    Make job goal targets more specific.

Get Ready to talk

v    Oral fluency is key.

Ø    Generate and become fluent with lots of diverse:

§       Accomplishment stories.  Ch. 2.

§       Proofs of traits, skills, expertise, abilities, and qualities.

Ø    Tell me about yourself.  See Capsule Bio in Ch. 2.

§       Goal Statement.

v     You will receive lists of relevant recruiters and companies.

§       Categorize company research by interest – A, B, C.

·       Describe favorite kinds of data for next request, i.e. SIC

·       Favorite Industries/Companies List for Networking.
